Eclipse 2012

May 20th was a solar eclipse, so we went out and got the special glasses to view the eclipse.
The only way I could get a picture was to filter the camera lense with the glasses.  Was
alot of fun to watch and we had great seats- just accross the street on a hill!

Rick's Preschool

After we moved back to Utah, I enrolled Rick into the Washington City Community
Center Smaller Scholars Preschool program (mouthful!)
Along with Preschool he gets to go to gymnastics, karate, rock wall, swim days,
and field trips.  He really enjoys going to school. Here are some
of the things he got to do this year!
Field Trip to the Animal Museum

On this day, he got to bring his bike to school and they had the parking lot
set up to look like a small city with a grocery store, car wash, school, and they ride
around on their bikes and pretend to play and go around the community.  Rick loved
bringing his bike to school!

Field Trip to the Fire Station!  the same station that daddy was a volunteer
Fire Fighter years earlier, Rick was soooo excited he wore his fireman costume!
He got to spray the hose from the brush truck.

Graduation Day!!

Kids Iron Man Fun Run

Getting ready for the St. George Iron Man Kids Fun Run!  A great way to stay active and
community support!  Rick ran the kids 200M and Emma ran the 1 mile.  At the finish line
they each got an iron man kids medal!

WDW!!! round 2

On April 19-23 Nick just had to go to Disney World for a company training and
I got to go with him (thats just the kind of sacrifice a wife makes!) and we left the kids
with grandma and grandpa.  It was such a great, fun and relaxing weekend with Nick.  We
stayed at the Yaght Club in the Epcot resort area.  So Beautiful!  While Nick attended meetings,
I soaked up some sun and walked the boardwalk and not one worry about where the kids are and
if they are entertained.  We went on a boat ride around the marina, enjoyed the night club dinner
party at Epcot with his co-workers and fireworks shows.  And it was especially nice to go
swimming and enjoy the resort pool with no kids, yes I really enjoyed having no kids around,
I love my kids, but really needed this break and spend time with my man!
