Independance Day

We had a lot going on for the big 4th of July weekend this year. We were going to go camping on top of it, but with the threat of thunderstorms, was just not gonna happen. We started out by going up to Nashville Shores on the 3rd, its this great waterpark located on Percy Priest Lake, its got the water park and all its glory of waterslides and pools, but also you get the beach, boating, jet skiing, ect. We also got an amazing deal too, our whole family got into the waterpark for only $5, we had a lot of fun swimming and enjoying the fireworks right on the beach. On the 4th we went to downtown Franklin for the festival, then walked over to Pinkerton Park (our favorite park) for a BBQ and dutch oven potatoes with friends and finished the night with more fireworks with a great view at the church. Take a look at all the fun!

Rick slept right through the fireworks!

Luau Birthday

Aloha, I am doing things a little out of order, but wanted to get to work on my blog. So on July 11th, I threw my friend Jenny a 30th birthday Luau. It was a lot of fun. Had 84 guests show up and just had so much fun. Lots of great food, games and Hula. Jenny has just been a great friend and just had to throw a party, any excuse really to party. So we had the party in her back yard. We had Roast pork, teriyaki chicken and rice, lots of fruit, and of coarse the Pina Coladas! Just take a look at how much fun we had with Limbo, Hula and great friends.
Here's me and Munni in the Kitchen cookin things up and makin the Pina Coladas.

Heres the birthday girl Jenny in the limbo! How low can you go.
Here I am in limbo, how low can I go? not that low apparently.

The men had their try at limbo, but just couldn't bend that way.

Jenny I love you girl, happy birthday! Thanks for being such a great friend.
