Independance Day

We had a lot going on for the big 4th of July weekend this year. We were going to go camping on top of it, but with the threat of thunderstorms, was just not gonna happen. We started out by going up to Nashville Shores on the 3rd, its this great waterpark located on Percy Priest Lake, its got the water park and all its glory of waterslides and pools, but also you get the beach, boating, jet skiing, ect. We also got an amazing deal too, our whole family got into the waterpark for only $5, we had a lot of fun swimming and enjoying the fireworks right on the beach. On the 4th we went to downtown Franklin for the festival, then walked over to Pinkerton Park (our favorite park) for a BBQ and dutch oven potatoes with friends and finished the night with more fireworks with a great view at the church.
